Red ” is a 16 x 16 inch archival inkjet art print on photographic paper.

Red alone in NYC – artist statement: This image was captured along the the Macy’s facade on 34th street in Manhattan. At the time, the store was being renovated, exterior storefront blocked with red painted plywood. People moving quickly were passing by. A typical unfortunate scene in the city, what appeared to be a homeless woman with her few belonging was siting on the bench. The woman appeared to be in the “danger zone” , danger being enhanced by the red color of Macy’s red wall.
