Sounio 8:54 artist statement: The most beautiful sunset I have ever seen in my entire life was captured on film with my Hasselblad camera. The place is known as Cape Sounion, the site of ruins of an ancient Greek temple located about an hour drive south of Athens, Greece. The spectacular sunset over the Aegean was captured in the month of August. The time was 8:54 PM.
